This piece is about healing, imagined through the imagery of a blister. The second circle stretches out like a blister’s skin, the third fills itself with liquid and the 4th, despite the process being complete, still has a pinch or two in the skin as it efforts to grow back normally. The loose meaning of the 4 circles are: the affect moment, analysing, healing, and growing, the link with sashiko and visible mending at the end of the process maybe a little twee.
